Abstract
외부의 전기 전도성 물체가 원통형 이차전지의 양극과 음극이 전기적으로 직접 연결되는 경우 이차전지의 전극탭 이 최대한 신속하게 끊어질 수 있도록, 본 발명은 탑 캡과 제1 가스켓이 밀착되는 영역에 절연층이 형성되고, 상기 절연층은 세라믹 물질 및 결착제(binder)를 포함할 수 있다.

Claims (9)
- 전극 조립체를 수용하고 상방이 개방된 구조를 갖는 전지 캔;
상기 전지 캔의 상부에 구비되는 탑 캡;
상기 탑 캡의 하부에 구비되는 안전 벤트;
상기 안전 벤트의 하부에 구비되는 CID 필터;
상기 전지 캔 상부의 내측면에 구비되고 상기 안전 벤트의 측부에 밀착 형성됨으로써 상기 안전 벤트와 상기 전지 캔 상부를 절연하는 제1 가스켓; 및
상기 안전 벤트와 상기 CID 필터 사이에 구비되고 상기 CID 필터의 상부에 밀착 형성됨으로써 상기 CID 필터의 외측 단부를 감싸고, 상기 안전 벤트의 하부에 밀착 형성되는 제2 가스켓; 을 포함하고,
상기 탑 캡과 상기 제1 가스켓이 밀착되는 영역에 절연층이 형성되고,
상기 절연층은 세라믹 물질 및 결착제(binder)를 포함하는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 결착제는 유기물 결착제를 포함하는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 세라믹 물질은 산화 알루미늄 또는 산화 규소를 포함하는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 결착제는,
상기 절연층의 총 중량에 대하여 20중량% 내지 90중량%로 포함되는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 탑 캡의 두께에 대한 상기 절연층의 두께의 비는 0.015 내지 0.15인 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 전지 캔의 상부에는 S자의 전부 또는 일부 형태로 벤딩된 구조를 갖는 크림핑부; 가 형성되고,
상기 제1 가스켓은 상기 크림핑부의 내측면에 밀착 구비되는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 절연층은 상기 탑 캡의 상면으로서, 상기 제1 가스켓의 내측 영역 중 상기 크림핑부의 상부 끝부와 상기 탑 캡 사이 영역에 형성되는 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 절연층의 두께는 0.015mm 내지 0.045mm인 이차전지. - 청구항 1에서,
상기 탑 캡의 두께는 0.3mm 내지 1.0mm인 이차전지.
