Claims (10)
- 다수의 열라인을 따라 배치되며 제1,2전원전압을 전달받고 발광다이오드를 구비한 부화소를 포함하고, 상기 열라인 방향으로 연장되고 상기 제1전원전압을 전달하는 전원배선이 구비된 표시패널과;
입력된 영상에 대한 상기 열라인 방향의 최대 IR 변동량에 따라 조절되는 보정치를 도출하고, 상기 보정치를 상기 영상의 평균영상레벨에 적용하여 보정평균영상레벨을 도출하고, 상기 보정평균영상레벨에 따라 상기 영상의 피크휘도를 제어하는 피크휘도 제어부
를 포함하고,
상기 IR 변동량은 상기 제1전원전압에 대한 IR 강하량 및 상기 제2전원전압에 대한 IR 상승량을 포함하는
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 피크휘도 제어부는,
상기 영상의 평균영상레벨을 산출하는 평균영상레벨 산출부와;
상기 영상에 대한 상기 다수의 열라인의 IR 변동량을 도출하는 IR 변동량 도출부와;
상기 다수의 열라인의 IR 변동량 중 최대 IR 변동량에 따라 조절되는 보정치를 도출하는 보정치 도출부와;
상기 보정치를 상기 평균영상레벨에 적용하여 보정평균영상레벨을 도출하는 평균영상레벨 보정부와;
상기 보정평균영상레벨에 따라 상기 영상의 피크휘도를 산출하는 피크휘도 산출부를 포함하는
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 피크휘도 제어부는, 상기 피크휘도에 대응되는 고전위 감마전원전압을 생성하는 감마전원전압 생성부를 포함하고,
상기 고전위 감마전원전압을 이용하여 대응되는 다수의 감마전압을 생성하는 감마전압회로
를 더 포함하는 유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 보정치는, 상기 최대 IR 변동량이 증가함에 따라 상기 보정평균영상레벨이 증가하는 추세를 갖도록 설정되는
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 보정치는, 상기 최대 IR 변동량이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 추세를 갖도록 설정되며,
상기 보정치의 상한값은 1이고, 하한값은 0.5 이상 1 미만인
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 보정평균영상레벨(CAPL)은,
CAPL(%) = {APL_th/α (0 ≤ APL(%) ≤ APL_th 일 때); APL/α (APL_th < APL 일 때)}(CAPL > 100인 경우에는 100으로 함)
에 따라 도출되고,
APL,APL_th,α는 각각, 상기 평균영상레벨, 상기 평균영상레벨의 문턱값, 보정치인
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 피크휘도 제어부는, 상기 열라인 단위로 IR 변동량을 도출하여 상기 최대 IR 변동량을 산출하거나, 2개 이상의 이웃한 상기 열라인 단위로 IR 변동량을 도출하여 상기 최대 IR 변동량을 산출하는
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 보정평균영상레벨이 증가함에 따라 상기 영상의 피크휘도는 감소하도록 구성된
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 발광다이오드는,
기판 상에 반사특성의 제1전극과;
상기 제1전극 상에 해당 부화소가 표시하는 레드, 그린 또는 블루를 발광하는 유기발광층과;
상기 유기발광층 상에 투과특성의 제2전극을 포함하는
유기발광표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 유기발광층은 용액 공정으로 형성된
유기발광표시장치.
