Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 h-BN 분말(실시예 2)을 3분간 초음파 처리했을 때의 입도 분포 곡선을 나타낸다. 초음파 처리 전의 입도 분포 곡선은 좌측에 있고, 초음파 처리 후의 입도 분포 곡선은 우측에 있다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 조건 1을 설명하기 위한 개략도이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 h-BN 분말(실시예 1)의 소정의 분급된 분말을 1분간 초음파 처리했을 때의 입도 분포 곡선을 나타낸다. 초음파 처리 전의 입도 분포 곡선은 좌측에 있고, 초음파 처리 후의 입도 분포 곡선은 우측에 있다.

Claims (8)
- 육방정 질화붕소의 1차 입자의 응집체를 포함하는 육방정 질화붕소 분말로서,
평균 1차 입경이 0.5㎛ 이상 10.0㎛ 미만이고, 50% 체적 누적 입경 D50이 10.0~150.0㎛이고, BET 비표면적이 1.0㎡/g 이상 10.0㎡/g 미만이고, 부피 밀도가 0.50~2.00g/㎤이며,
체적 기준의 빈도 분포를 나타내는 입도 분포 곡선에 있어서 1.0㎛ 이상 20.0㎛ 미만의 입경 범위 내에 피크 A, 및 20.0㎛ 이상 200.0㎛ 미만의 입경 범위 내에 피크 B를 가지며,
상기 육방정 질화붕소 분말을 하기 조건 1에서 3분간 초음파 처리했을 때, 처리 전의 상기 피크 B의 높이 b1에 대한 상기 피크 A의 높이 a1의 비 a1/b1이 0.07~0.80의 범위 내이고, 처리 후의 상기 피크 B의 높이 b2에 대한 상기 피크 A의 높이 a2의 비 a2/b2가 0.40~2.00의 범위 내인, 육방정 질화붕소 분말.
[조건 1: 배럴 내경 40mm 및 높이 60mm를 갖는 50mL 유리 비커에 20℃에서 상기 육방정 질화붕소 분말의 0.12질량%의 수분산액 50mL를 넣고, 초음파 발생기의 진동자의 팁의 선단을 상기 비커의 중앙부의 바닥면으로부터 1cm의 높이에 세팅하고, 출력 150W 및 발진 주파수 19.5kHz로 초음파 처리를 행함] - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 육방정 질화붕소 분말을 45㎛ 초과 106㎛ 이하의 입경 범위 내로 진동체를 사용하여 분급함으로써 얻어진 분말의 체적 기준의 빈도 분포를 나타내는 입도 분포 곡선에 있어서 45.0~150.0㎛의 입경 범위 내에 최대 피크 C를 갖고, 분급된 상기 분말을 상기 조건 1에서 1분간 초음파 처리했을 때 상기 최대 피크 C의 높이의 감소율[(c1-c2)/c1×100]이 5% 이상 30% 미만인, 육방정 질화붕소 분말.
[식 중, c1은 처리 전의 상기 최대 피크 C의 높이이고, c2는 처리 후의 상기 최대 피크 C의 높이임] - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 기재된 육방정 질화붕소 분말의 제조 방법으로서,
육방정 질화붕소 원료 분말 50~90질량부 및 붕소의 옥소산 및 산화붕소로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 1종 또는 2종 이상의 붕소 화합물 10~50질량부를 포함하는 혼합 분말을 제조하는 스텝;
상기 혼합 분말 100질량부에 흑연 및 탄소 함유 화합물로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 1종 또는 2종 이상의 탄소원을 탄소 원자 환산으로 3.0~10.0질량부 첨가하고 혼합하여 성형 재료를 제조하는 스텝;
상기 성형 재료를 가압 성형하여 1.40~1.70g/㎤의 밀도를 갖는 성형체를 제작하는 스텝;
상기 성형체를 질소 가스 분위기 하에 1000~2200℃에서 소성하여 소성물을 얻는 스텝; 및
상기 소성물을 분쇄하고, 분쇄물을 분급하는 스텝을 포함하고,
상기 육방정 질화붕소 원료 분말은 평균 두께 d에 대한 평균 1차 입경 L의 비 L/d가 2.0~15.0이고, 50% 체적 누적 입경 D50이 0.20~5.00㎛이고, BET 비표면적이 5.0~30.0㎡/g이고, 결정자 지름이 150~400Å인, 육방정 질화붕소 분말의 제조 방법. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 성형 재료를 제조하는 스텝에 있어서, 상기 탄소원은 탄화붕소이고, 상기 혼합 분말 100질량부에 상기 탄화붕소가 15~20질량부 첨가되고 혼합되는, 육방정 질화붕소 분말의 제조 방법. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 탄화붕소는 50% 체적 누적 입경 D50이 0.1~15.0㎛인, 육방정 질화붕소 분말의 제조 방법. - 수지 및 고무로 이루어지는 군으로부터 1종 또는 2종 이상을 포함하는 기재, 및 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 기재된 육방정 질화붕소 분말을 포함하는, 조성물.
- 제 6 항에 기재된 조성물을 포함하는, 방열재.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
방열 시트인, 방열재.
