Abstract
Description
도 2는 포트가 벤트 컵에 내장된 경우 누출 가스를 배출하기 위한 포트를 갖는 부싱 및 유체 통로를 갖는 밀봉 조립체를 도시한다.
도 3은 플로팅 유형 밀봉부를 갖는 밀봉 캐리어 및 포트가 벤트 컵에 내장된 경우 누출 가스를 배출하기 위한 포트를 갖는 유체 통로를 갖는 밀봉 조립체를 도시한다.
도 4a는 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부(unsegmented seal)(40)가 스프링 보강된(spring-energized) U-컵 밀봉부인 경우의 밀봉 조립체를 도시한다.
도 4b는 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부(40)가 스프링 보강되지 않은 U-컵 밀봉부인 경우의 밀봉 조립체를 도시한다.
도 5는 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부(40)가 플라스틱 갭(40b)을 갖는 O-링(40a)를 포함하는 두 개의 부분 밀봉부를 갖는 경우의 밀봉 조립체를 도시한다.
Claims (11)
- 왕복동 압축기(reciprocating compressor)의 왕복동 로드의 밀봉 조립체에 있어서, 상기 밀봉 조립체는 제 1 단부 및 제 2 단부를 가지며, 상기 밀봉 조립체의 제 1 단부는 상기 왕복동 로드의 실린더 단부를 향해 배치되고, 상기 밀봉 조립체의 제 2 단부는 상기 왕복동 로드의 크랭크 케이스 단부(crank case end)를 향해 배치되고, 상기 왕복동 로드는 종축(longitudinal axis)을 갖고, 상기 밀봉 조립체는,
하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너(packing retainer)들로서, 상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너의 각각은 상기 왕복동 로드와 컨택하도록 구성된 개별 패킹을 함유하는, 상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너들;
상기 왕복동 로드와 밀봉 계면을 형성하도록 구성된 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부(unsegmented seal)로서, 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부는 상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너들의 축 위치(axial position)에 대해 상기 밀봉 조립체의 제 2 단부에 더 가까운 축 위치에 배열되고, 상기 축 위치는 상기 왕복동 로드의 종축에 대해 정의되는, 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부;
제 1 단부 및 제 2 단부를 갖는 유체 통로로서, 상기 제 1 단부는 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부와 상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너들의 적어도 하나의 개별 패킹 사이의 축 위치에 위치되고, 상기 유체 통로의 제 1 단부의 축 위치는 상기 왕복동 로드의 종축에 대하여 정의되고, 상기 유체 통로는 적어도 하나의 개별 패킹을 통과하여 누출되는 유체를 벤트하도록 작동 가능하게 구성되는, 상기 유체 통로; 및
상기 유체 통로의 제 2 단부와 유체 연통하는 밸브를 포함하는, 밀봉 조립체. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부의 내경은 상기 왕복동 로드의 외경과 동일한, 밀봉 조립체.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
벤트 부재(vent member)를 더 포함하고, 상기 유체 통로는 상기 벤트 부재를 통과하는, 밀봉 조립체. - 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 벤트 부재는 개별 패킹을 함유하는, 밀봉 조립체.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너들 각각에 함유된 상기 패킹은 세그먼트화된 패킹 또는 로프 패킹(rope packing)인, 밀봉 조립체.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 왕복동 로드에 대한 부싱(bushing)을 더 포함하되, 상기 부싱은 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부에 대한 압축 하중을 감소시키는데 효율적인 위치에 있는, 밀봉 조립체. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 하나 이상의 패킹 리테이너에 대해 고정된 간격 관계에 있는 밀봉 캐리어(seal carrier)를 더 포함하되, 상기 밀봉 캐리어는 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부를 보유하기 위한 것인, 밀봉 조립체. - 청구항 7에 있어서,
상기 밀봉 캐리어는 상기 세그먼트화되지 않은 밀봉부가 방사상으로 움직이도록 구성된, 밀봉 조립체. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 유체 통로의 제 2 단부와 상기 밸브 사이의 이송 라인(transfer line)내의 압력을 감지하도록 작동 가능하게 배치된 압력 트랜스듀서(pressure transducer)를 더 포함하는, 밀봉 조립체. - 왕복동 압축기에 있어서,
왕복동 로드; 및
청구항 1에 따른 밀봉 조립체를 포함하는, 왕복동 압축기. - 청구항 10에 따른 왕복동 압축기를 작동시키는 방법에 있어서,
상기 적어도 하나의 개별 패킹을 지나 누출되는 임의의 유체는 상기 왕복동 압축기가 작동할 때 상기 밸브를 통해 벤트되고; 및
상기 밸브는 상기 왕복동 압축기가 정지될 때, 폐쇄되는, 방법.
