도 4a 및 4b는 도 2에 도시한 예시적인 백라이트 디바이스 내의 빔 형상화 요소의 하부 표면의 평면도들이고 예시적인 도트 패턴들을 도시하고;
도 5는 광학 렌즈 및 빔 형상화 요소를 갖는 또 하나의 예시적인 백라이트 디바이스의 단면도이고;
도 6은 도 5에 도시한 예시적인 백라이트 디바이스의 3D 사시(하부 및 측면)도들이다.
Claims (20)
- 발광 디바이스로서,
광원;
상기 광원에 결합되고 그 위에 위치한 광학 렌즈 - 상기 광학 렌즈는 상기 광학 렌즈 및 상기 광원의 광학 축에 대해 `방사 대칭인 내부 만곡된 표면 및 외부 만곡된 표면을 포함함 - ; 및
상기 광학 렌즈에 결합되고 그 위에 위치한 빔 형상화 요소 - 상기 빔 형상화 요소는 상기 광원으로부터 나오고 상기 광학 렌즈로부터 굴절된 광의 적어도 일부를 산란 및 재지향시키도록 구성되어 상기 발광 디바이스 위의 광 시야 상에 균일한 광 세기 분포 패턴을 생성함 -
를 포함하는 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
기판을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 광원이 상기 기판의 상부 표면 상에 형성되는 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소는 상기 광학 렌즈 및 상기 광원의 상기 광학 축에 대해 방사 대칭인 발광 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 빔 형상화 요소를 상기 광학 렌즈의 상부 표면에 고정하도록 구성되는 돌기들을 추가로 포함하는 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 하부 표면을 포함하고, 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 하부 표면은 상기 광원으로부터 나오고 상기 렌즈로부터 굴절된 광의 일부분을 반사하고 상기 광원으로부터 나오고 상기 광학 렌즈로부터 굴절된 광의 다른 일부분을 상기 빔 형상화 요소를 통해 방사하는 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 상기 하부 표면 상의 패턴을 추가로 포함하는 발광 디바이스.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 패턴은 도트들의 패턴이고, 상기 도트들은 광을 반사하고 도트들 사이에 있는 공간은 광을 방사하는 발광 디바이스.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 도트들은 원형, 다이아몬드형, 타원형 또는 직사각형 중 하나인 형상을 갖는 발광 디바이스.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 패턴은 반사 코팅으로 만들어지는 발광 디바이스.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 반사 코팅은 적어도 부분적으로 흡수하는 잉크인 발광 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소는 내부 표면 및 외부 표면을 포함하는 발광 디바이스.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 광학 렌즈의 상기 외부 만곡된 표면과 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 상기 내부 표면 사이에 갭을 포함하는 발광 디바이스.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 상기 외부 표면은 상기 광학 렌즈의 상기 외부 만곡된 표면과 상이한 곡률을 갖는 발광 디바이스.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 상기 내부 표면 및 상기 외부 표면은 매끈한 표면들인 발광 디바이스.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 상기 외부 표면은 상기 빔 형상화 요소의 내부 표면쪽으로 안으로 리세스하는 상기 광학 축을 중심으로 하는 리세스된 부분을 포함하는 발광 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광학 렌즈의 지지 베이스를 포함하고 상기 빔 형상화 요소는 상기 광학 렌즈의 상기 지지 베이스의 상부 표면 상에 고정되는 발광 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 빔 형상화 요소 위에 위치하고 상기 빔 형상화 요소로부터 방사된 광을 고르게 분배하도록 구성되는 확산기 플레이트를 추가로 포함하는 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광학 렌즈는 다음의 재료들: 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(PMMA), 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET), 폴리카보네이트(PC), 폴리스티렌(PS), 또는 유리 중 하나로 만들어지는 발광 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 형상화 요소는 다음의 재료들: 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(PMMA), 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET), 폴리카보네이트(PC), 폴리스티렌(PS), 또는 유리 중 하나로 만들어지는 발광 디바이스.
