Abstract

본 문건은, 휠의 스포크 형상에 관계없이, 다양한 차종에 공용으로 적용할 수 있는 러스트 커버를 개시한다.
실시예에 따른 러스트 커버는, 휠너트에 의하여 차량에 장착된 휠에 설치되는 러스트 커버에 있어서, 원판 형태의 몸체; 및 상기 몸체의 일측면에 형성되고, 상기 휠너트에 결합되는 결합부;를 포함한다.

Description

러스트 커버 및 러스트 커버 세트{RUST COVER AND RUST COVER SET}
본 개시(Disclosure)는 자동차 휠에 설치되는 러스트 커버(Rust cover)와 관련된다.
본 섹션(Section)에는 본 개시의 기술적 의의를 이해하는 데 도움이되는 종래기술이 기재된다. 다만, 공지여부에 대한 명확한 언급이 없는 한, 기재된 종래기술이 출원 전 공지되었음을 의미하는 것은 아니다.
자동차의 브레이크 디스크 및 브레이크 캘리퍼 등은 녹이 발생하기 쉽다. 그에 따라, 출고된 자동차를, 장기간 보관 해야하거나, 해상운송 해야할 경우, 자동차 휠에는 브레이크 디스크 및 브레이크 캘리퍼를 보호하기 위한 러스트 커버가 설치된다. 한국 등록특허공보 제10-1501560호를 통하여, 러스트 커버의 개략적인 구조를 확인할 수 있다.
한편, 일반적으로, 전술한 러스트 커버는, 휠의 스포크에 결합되는 구조를 갖는데, 그에 따라, 러스트 커버는, 휠의 형상에 따라(차종에 따라), 그에 맞게 제작되어야 한다.
만약, 여러 형태의 휠(차종)에 공용으로 적용할 수 있는 러스트 커버가 개발된다면, 휠의 형상에 따라, 러스트 커버를 제작할 필요가 없기 때문에, 러스트 커버용 금형제작 비용 등을 크게 절감할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

휠의 스포크 형상에 관계없이, 다양한 차종에 공용으로 적용할 수 있는 러스트 커버를 제공하는 것이다.
실시예에 따른 러스트 커버는, 휠너트에 의하여 차량에 장착된 휠에 설치되는 러스트 커버에 있어서, 원판 형태의 몸체; 및 상기 몸체의 일측면에 형성되고, 상기 휠너트에 결합되는 결합부;를 포함한다.
상기 결합부는, 중앙에 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 형태인 것일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 휠너트의 상단에는 둘레에 홈이 형성된 캡부가 구비되고, 상기 결합부의 하부 내측에는 상기 홈에 걸림결합되는 걸림턱이 구비될 수 있다.
아울러, 상기 몸체는 직물소재로 이루어질 수 있다.
실시예에 따른 러스트 커버 세트는, 둘레에 홈이 형성된 휠너트캡; 원판 형태의 몸체와, 상기 몸체의 일측면에 형성되고, 상기 휠너트캡에 결합되는 결합부로 구성된 러스트 커버;를 포함하되, 상기 결합부는, 중앙에 상기 휠너트캡에 대응되는 크기의 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 형태이되, 하부 내측에 상기 홈에 걸림결합되는 걸림턱이 구비된 것을 특징으로 한다.
실시예에 따른 러스트 커버는, 휠너트에 결합되는 구조를 갖기 때문에, 휠너트의 개수와 크기가 동일한 차종에 공용으로 적용될 수 있다.
도 1은 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)의 사시도이다.
도 2는 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)와 휠너트(WA)의 결합 구조를 개략적으로 나타내는 도면이다.
도 3은 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버 세트(200)의 사시도이다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여, 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100) 및 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버 세트(200)를 구체적으로 설명한다.
일반적으로, 자동차의 휠(W)은 둘레를 따라 복수 개[통상 5개]의 휠볼트가 구비된 허브스페이서에 휠너트(WA)를 매개로 결합된다. 한편, 일반적으로, 하나의 제조사에서 생산되는 차량들은, 차종이 다르더라도, 동일한 규격의 허브스페이서가 적용된다.
도 1은 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)의 사시도이고, 도 2는 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)와 휠너트(WA)의 결합 구조를 개략적으로 나타내는 도면이다.
도 1 내지 도 2를 참조하면, 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)는, 몸체(110)와 결합부(120)를 포함한다.
몸체(110)는 원판 형태로, 휠(W)의 넓이에 대응되는 크기를 갖는다. 몸체(110)는 합성수지 재질 또는 직물 재질로 이루어질 수 있다.
결합부(120)는 몸체(110)의 일측에 형성된다. 결합부(120)는 적어도 2개 이상이 구비되는 것이 바람직하며, 휠너트(WA)에 개수에 대응되지 않아도 무방하다.
하나의 예로서, 결합부(120)는 중앙에 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 행태 또는 원통 형태일 수 있다. 이 경우, 사용자는 한 손으로 휠너트(WA)를 누르고, 다른 한 손으로 몸체(110)의 가장자리를 잡아당겨, 몸체(110)를 휠(W)에서 용이하게 탈거할 수 있을 것이다.
한편, 결합부(120)가 중앙에 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 행태 또는 원통 형태일 때, 휠너트(WA)의 상단에는 둘레에 소정 두께의 홈(WC)이 캡부(WB)가 구비되고, 결합부(120)의 하부 내측에 전술한 홈(WC)에 걸림결합될 수 있는 걸림턱(112)이 구비되면, 몸체(110)와 휠너트(WA)의 결합력이 극대화될 수 있을 것이다. 이때, 결합부(120)의 중앙에 형성된 홀은, 캡부(WB)의 둘레에 대응되도록 구성되는 것이 바람직하다.
도면에 도시된 홈(212)과 걸림턱(112)의 형태는 일례에 불과하며, 이는 당해 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의하여, 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양하게 변형(응용)될 수 있을 것이다.
앞서 설명된 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)는 휠 스포크에 설치되는 종래의 러스트 커버와 달리, 휠너트(WA)에 설치되도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하며, 하나의 제조사에 생산되는 차량들(휠 크기가 동일할 경우)에 공용으로 설치될 수 있을 것이다.
또한, 앞서 설명된 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버(100)는, 당해 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의하여, 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양하게 변형(응용)될 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 본 개시의 청구범위는 '발명의 설명' 및 '도면' 전반에 내포된 기술적 사상을 바탕으로 폭넓게 해석되어야 한다.
도 3은 실시예에 따른 러스트 커버 세트(200)의 사시도이다.
일반적으로, 휠너트(WA)에는 휠너트캡(210)이 장착되기도 한다. 그에 따라, 러스트 커버(220)와 휠너트캡(210)은 세트화되어 판매될 수 있을 것이다.
실시예에 따른 러스트 커버 세트(200)는, 휠너트캡(210)과, 러스트 커버(220)를 포함할 수 있다.
러스트 커버(220)는 원판 형태의 몸체(222)와, 몸체(222)의 일측면에 형성되고, 휠너트캡(210)에 결합되는 결합부(224)로 구성될 수 있고, 휠너트캡(210)의 둘레에는 홈(212)이 형성되고, 결합부(224)는, 중앙에 휠너트캡(210)에 대응되는 크기의 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 형태이되, 하부 내측에 전술한 홈(212)에 걸림결합되는 걸림턱(224a)이 구비된 것일 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 휠너트에 의하여 차량에 장착된 휠에 설치되는 러스트 커버에 있어서,
    원판 형태의 몸체; 및
    상기 몸체의 일측면에 형성되고, 상기 휠너트에 결합되는 결합부;를 포함하는 러스트 커버.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 결합부는,
    중앙에 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는, 러스트 커버.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 휠너트의 상단에는 둘레에 홈이 형성된 캡부가 구비되고,
    상기 결합부의 하부 내측에는 상기 홈에 걸림결합되는 걸림턱이 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 러스트 커버.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 몸체는 직물소재로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 러스트 커버.
  5. 둘레에 홈이 형성된 휠너트캡;
    원판 형태의 몸체와, 상기 몸체의 일측면에 형성되고, 상기 휠너트캡에 결합되는 결합부로 구성된 러스트 커버;를 포함하되,
    상기 결합부는, 중앙에 상기 휠너트캡에 대응되는 크기의 홀이 형성된 원뿔대 형태이되, 하부 내측에 상기 홈에 걸림결합되는 걸림턱이 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는, 러스트 커버 세트.
