Abstract
Description
(a)는 유속은 중심이 작고 연소실 외곽은 큰 상태를 나타내 것이고, (b)는 난류 에너지는 속도 편차(dV/dt)에 의해 중심이 크고 연소실 외곽이 작게 돤 상태를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 2는 종래 점화플러그가 연소실에 설치된 상태를 나타낸 단면도이다.
도 3의 (a) 및 (b)는 본 발명에 따른 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그의 다른 실시 예를 나타낸 도면으로,
(a)는 점화플러그가 설치된 상태를 나타낸 도면이고, (b)는 점화플러그를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 4의 (a) 내지 (c)는 본 발명에 따른 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그의 다른 실시 예를 나타낸 도면으로,
(a)는 점화플러그가 설치된 상태를 나타낸 단면도면이고, (b)는 점화플러그를 나타낸 도면이고, (c)는 점화플러그 바디에 형성된 경사면이 흡기방향으로 설치된 상태를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 5는 본 발명에 따른 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그와 연소실의 배치상태를 나타낸 도면이다.

Claims (6)
- 내연기간의 연소실 내의 연료 및 공기 혼합물을 점화하는 점화플러그의 전극을 유동속도가 빠른 곳에 위치시키되, 상기 점화플러그 바디 일단 끝단부와 점화플러그가 설치되는 실린더 헤드의 끝단이 사선 상에 위치하도록 하여 텀블유동을 아래로 유도하여 점화플러그에서 발생한 화염이 난류 에너지가 큰 연소실 중심으로 늘어나게 하여 초기연소 및 주연소 속도 모두가 빠른 특성을 가지도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그.
- 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 점화플러그 바디의 일 끝단에 경사면이 전 둘레에 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 점화플러그 바디 일 끝단의 어느 한쪽 면에만 경사면이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그. - 제3 항에 있어서,
상기 점화플러그 바디 일 끝단에 형성된 경사면은 흡기방향에만 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그. - 제1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,
상기 점화플러그 바디 일 끝단의 경사면이 실린더 헤드면보다 돌출되게 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그. - 제1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,
실린더 헤드 연소실을 점화플러그 바디의 경사면과 연장 선상에 있도록 곡선홈을 형성하여 유동을 더욱더 적극적으로 유도할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 연소속도 증대를 위한 점화플러그.
