Claims (20)
- 상부 가장자리와 대향하는 하부 가장자리, 및 제1 측부 가장자리와 대향하는 제2 측부 가장자리를 갖는 단열 유지 시트에 있어서, 상기 단열 유지 시트는:
적어도 200 cfm/ft2의 공기 투과성, 상부 가장자리와 대향하는 하부 가장자리, 및 제1 측부 가장자리와 대향하는 제2 측부 가장자리를 갖는 메쉬 시트; 및
하나 이상의 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립을 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립 각각은, 상부 가장자리와 대향하는 하부 가장자리, 및 제1 측부 가장자리와 대향하는 제2 측부 가장자리를 갖고, 상기 하나 이상의 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립은 상기 메쉬 시트에 적층되고, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립 제1 측부 가장자리는 각각 상기 메쉬 시트의 제1 측부 가장자리로 연장되고, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립 제2 측부 가장자리는 각각 상기 메쉬 시트의 제2 측부 가장자리로 연장되며,
상기 단열 유지 시트는 상기 메쉬 시트의 제1 측부 가장자리로부터 상기 메쉬 시트의 제2 측부 가장자리까지 측 방향으로 연장되는 복수의 개방 구역을 갖고, 여기서 증기 지연 멤브레인은 상기 메쉬에 적층되지 않는, 단열 유지 시트. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메쉬는 직물 메쉬, 예를 들어 부직포 메쉬인, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인은 23°C에서 ASTM E96에 의해 측정된 바와 같이 25% 상대 습도에서 약 1 Perm 이하의 수증기 투과율, 및 23°C에서 ASTM E96에 의해 측정된 바와 같이 75% 상대 습도에서 적어도 2 perm, 예를 들어 4~15 perm, 예를 들어 6~12 perm 범위로 수증기 투과율을 갖는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인은 23°C에서 ASTM E96에 의해 모두 측정된 바와 같이 a) 45% 상대 습도에서 5 perm 이하, 예를 들어 2.5 perm 이하의 수증기 투과율, 및 b) 95% 상대 습도에서 적어도 약 5 Perm(예, 적어도 약 8 Perm, 또는 적어도 약 12 Perm, 또는 적어도 약 15 Perm, 또는 적어도 약 20 Perm)의 수증기 투과율 중 하나 이상을 갖는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증기 유지 멤브레인은 폴리머 시트, 폴리머 적층체이거나 그 위에 형성된 증기 지연 코팅을 갖는 시트(예, 부직포)를 포함하는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립을 2~10개 범위, 예를 들어 2~8, 또는 2~6, 또는 2~4, 또는 3~10, 또는 3~8, 또는 3~6, 또는 5~10, 또는 5~8개 범위를 포함하는 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 개방 구역은, 상기 단열 유지 멤브레인의 상부 가장자리를 따라 연장되는 상부 개방 구역, 및 상기 단열 유지 멤브레인의 하부 가장자리를 따라 연장되는 하부 개방 구역을 포함하는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 개방 구역은, 상기 메쉬 시트를 가로질러 그 상부 가장자리 및 하부 가장자리 사이에 하나 이상의 내부 개방 구역을 포함하는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립 각각은 상기 메쉬 시트에 실질적으로 그 전체 높이에 걸쳐 적층되는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립은 하나 이상의 증기 지연 멤브레인의 제1 스트립을 포함하고, 각각은:
상기 제1 스트립의 최상부 부분에 상부 구역(상기 상부 구역은 상기 제1 스트립의 제1 측부 가장자리로부터 제2 측부 가장자리로 연장되고, 상기 상부 구역은 상기 메쉬 시트에 적층됨), 및
상기 제1 스트립의 상부 부분에 인접한 제1 스트립의 최하부 부분에 하부 구역(상기 하부 구역은 상기 제1 스트립의 제1 측부 가장자리로부터 제2 측부 가장자리로 연장되고, 상기 하부 구역은 상기 메쉬 시트에 적층되지 않고, 상기 하부 구역은 하부 가장자리, 제1 측부 가장자리, 및 대향하는 제2 측부 가장자리를 갖는 플랩을 형성함)을 갖는, 단열 유지 시트. - 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증기 지연 멤브레인의 스트립 각각은 적어도 4 인치, 적어도 8 인치, 적어도 15 인치, 또는 심지어 적어도 25 인치의 높이를 갖는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 개방 구역 각각은 1~24 인치의 범위인 높이를 갖는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 단열 유지 시트의 영역의 적어도 5%가 개방 구역인, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 단열 유지 시트의 영역의 30% 이하가 개방 구역인, 단열 유지 시트.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 단열 유지 시트는 그 안에 형성된 하나 이상의 애퍼처를 갖는, 단열 유지 시트.
- 하나 이상의 빌딩 공동을 단열하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 방법은:
복수의 빌딩 부재에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 정의된 개방면을 각각 갖는 하나 이상의 단열 공동을 제공하는 단계;
제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 단열 유지 시트로 상기 하나 이상의 단열 공동을, 상기 단열 유지 시트를 상기 복수의 빌딩 부재에 부착함으로써 실질적으로 감싸는 단계; 및
상기 하나 이상의 단열 공동에 단열재를 취입하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제16항에 있어서, 상기 단열재는 상기 단열 유지 시트의 애퍼처를 통해 상기 하나 이상의 공동 각각으로 취입되는, 방법.
- 제16항 또는 제17항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 상기 단열재를 상기 하나 이상의 공동에 취입한 후 상기 개방 구역 중 하나 이상(예를 들어 각각)을 덮는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 방법.
- 단열 빌딩 공동에 있어서, 상기 단열 빌딩 공동은:
제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 단열 유지 시트에 의해 폐쇄된 하나의 면 상의 공동; 및
상기 공동에 배치되고 느슨하게 충진된 단열재를 포함하는, 단열 빌딩 공동. - 제19항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 단열 유지 시트의 개방 구역 각각은, 예를 들어 플랩에 의해, 별도의 재료 스트립에 의해, 또는 별도의 단열 재료 스트립에 의해 또는 접착제 테이프 스트립에 의해 덮이는, 단열 빌딩 공동.
