Claims (8)
- 대상액체가 유입되는 흡입구가 형성되는 펌프하우징;
상기 펌프하우징 내에 배치되며, 내부공간이 하기 피스톤에 의해 상부공간 및 하부공간으로 격리 형성되고, 상기 펌프하우징에 수용된 대상액체를 상부공간으로 흡입 수용하여 1차 가압하는 흡입챔버;
상기 펌프하우징 내 상기 흡입챔버 하부에 배치되며, 내부공간이 하기 피스톤로드에 형성된 연통로에 의해 상기 흡입챔버 상부공간과 연통되도록 형성되고, 상기 흡입챔버에서 가압된 대상액체를 전달받아 2차 가압하여 배출구를 통해 배출하는 배출챔버;
상기 흡입챔버 및 상기 배출챔버 내의 대상액체를 가압하기 위한 피스톤로드 및 피스톤;
을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 왕복동 펌프는,
상기 피스톤로드 하강 시에 상기 흡입챔버 상부공간으로 흡입된 대상액체가, 상기 피스톤로드 상승 시 상기 흡입챔버 외부의 대상액체의 냉열엑서지를 흡수함으로써 과냉상태가 됨에 따라 기화가스(boil-off gas) 발생이 억제되도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 왕복동 펌프는,
상기 흡입챔버 외부의 냉열엑서지 양이 확보되도록,
상기 펌프하우징 내에 수용된 대상액체에 상기 흡입챔버 및 상기 배출챔버가 모두 잠겨있도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 왕복동 펌프는,
상기 흡입챔버 외부의 냉열엑서지 양이 확보되도록,
상기 펌프하우징 내 대상액체 온도를 T0, 압력을 P0이라 하고,
상기 흡입챔버 상부공간 내 대상액체 온도를 T1, 압력을 P1이라 하고,
상기 배출챔버 내 대상액체 온도를 T2, 압력을 P2라 하고,
대상액체의 P1에서의 끓는점을 Tb라 할 때,
상기 피스톤로드 상승 시 대상액체의 압력 및 온도가 하기의 식과 같은 관계를 형성하도록,
상기 펌프하우징 내에 수용된 대상액체 부피와 상기 흡입챔버 상부공간 및 상기 배출챔버 내에 수용된 대상액체 부피가 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
(압력관계식) P1 > P0, P2 = P1
(온도관계식) Tb ≥ T1 ≥ T0, T2 = T1
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 왕복동 펌프는,
상기 흡입챔버 외부의 냉열엑서지 흡수시간이 확보되도록,
왕복동속도가 0.5~1.5Hz 범위 내의 값으로 저속구동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 흡입챔버는,
상부에 복수 개의 흡입체크밸브가 구비되되,
상기 흡입체크밸브는 상기 피스톤로드 하강 시 대상액체가 상기 흡입챔버의 상부공간으로 이동하도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 흡입챔버는,
하부가 개방된 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 왕복동 펌프는,
대상액체가 액화수소인 것을 특징으로 하는 왕복동 펌프.
