본 고안은 휴즈가 용단되면 네온램프가 점등되어 휴즈의 용단 여부를 육안으로 쉽게 식별할 수 있도록된 휴즈에 관한 것이다.
종래의 원형통 휴즈는 외통이 불투명하기 때문에 휴즈가 용단되었는지 여부를 육안으로 직접 식별할수가 없어서 일일이 테스터(Tester)로 검사하지 않으면 안되는 불편한 점이 있었으며 또한 절연성이 높은 투명 또는 반투명체인 경질 합성수지(F.R. P) 외통을 사용한다 할지라도 대부분의 휴즈박스가 어두운 곳에 설치되어 있어서 육안으로 식별하기가 곤란한 점등이 있었다.
본 고안은 이러한 종래의 결점을 제거하기 위하여 휴즈와 표시회로장치를 병열로 연결하되 휴즈가 용단되면 표시장치의 네온램프가 점등될 수 있을뿐 아니라 휴즈만을 용이하게 교체할 수 있게 하므로서 고가인 고압 휴즈를 재사용할 수 있게 안출된 것으로 이를 첨부된 도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
휴즈단자(1)(1´)사이에 휴즈(2)를 결선시키고 절연성이 높은 투명 또는 반투명체인 외통(3)을 복설하여서된 휴즈에 있어서 휴즈단(1)(1´)사이에 저항(4) 네온램프(5) 직렬로 연결하여서된 표시장치(6)를 휴즈(2)와 병열로 결선하여서된 것이다.
위와 같이 구성된 본고안은 휴즈(2)가 용단되지 않았을때는 저항(4) 때문에 표시장치(6)에는 전류가 흐르지 아니하고 휴즈(2)로만 전류가 흐르다가 휴즈(2)가 용단되면 전류는 표시장치(6)로 흐르게 되므로 네온램프(5)가 점등되게 된다.
위와 같이 본 고안은 휴즈(2)가 용단되지 아니한 상태일때는 표시장치(6)에 전류가 흐르지 아니하여 네온램프(5)가 점등되지 않지만 휴즈(2)가 용단되면 네온램프( 5)가 점등되므로 휴즈박스가 어두운 곳에 설치되어 있다 하더라도 일일이 테스터( Tester)로 검사할 필요가 없이 즉각 육안으로 식별해낼 수가 있어 정전시간을 단축시킴은 물론 작업의 능률화를 기할 수 있을뿐만 아니라 휴즈(2)와 표시장치(6)가 별도로 구성되어 있어서 휴즈(2)가 용단되더라도 기타의 부품에는 손상이 없으므로 휴즈만 갈아끼워 고가인 휴즈를 재사용할 수 있는 유용한 고안인 것이다.

- 도면에 표시한 바와 같이 휴즈단자(1)(1´) 사이에 휴즈(2)를 결선한 공지의 휴즈에 있어서 저항(4)과 네온램프(5)를 직렬로 연결하여서된 표시장치(6)를 휴즈(2)와 병열로 접속하여 투명 또는 반투명체인 경질 합성수지(F.R.P)외 통(3)을 복착하여된 것을 특징으로 한 휴즈.
