본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 의한 액정표시 장치의 구성도.
제6도는 본 발명의 액정표시 소자를 상측으로 부터 본 경우의 액정분자의 배향방향(예를 들면 러빙방향), 액정분자의 트위스트방향, 편광판의 흡수축(또는 편광축)방향을 나타낸도.
제7도는 제6도의 관계를 나타낸 사시도.

Claims (7)

  1. 대향하는 복수의 전극간에 설치된 90°를 초과하는 트위스트각을 가지는 트위스트 네마틱형의 액정층과, 그 액정층은 사이에 두고 배치된 1쌍의 편광판과, 그 1쌍의 편광판의 사이에 설치된 복국절성을 가지는 필름을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 위상 보정용 위상판을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 필름은 폴리카보네이트, 폴리비닐알콜, 트리어닐시어노레이트등의 유지재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
  3. 대향하는 복수의 전극간에 설치된 90°를 넘는 트위스트 각을 가지는 트위스트 네마틱 형의 1제1의 액정측과, 그 제1의 액정층을 사이에 두고 배치된 1쌍의 편광판과, 그 1쌍의 편광판의 사이에 설치된 트위스트각이 실질적으로 0° 또는 180°인 적어도 하나의 제2의 액정층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 액정층의 굴절율 이방성(Δn)과 층두께(d)와의 곱이 0.4㎛ 내지 2.5㎛의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 액정층의 굴절율 이방성(Δn)과 층두께(d)와의 곱이 0.4㎛ 내지 1.0㎛의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 액정층의 굴절율 이방성(Δn)과 층두께(d)와의 곱이 0.4㎛ 내지 2.5㎛의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 액정층의 굴절율 이방성(Δn)과 층두께(d)와의 곱이 0.4㎛ 내지 1.0㎛의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
