Abstract

에어백, 가스발생기 및 충돌센서를 일체적으로 구성한 에어백모듈이다.
조향핸들의 중심부분에 위치하는 커버내에 에어백을 수납하고, 그 에어백에 대한 가스를 공급하는 가스발생기를 조향핸들 저부에 고착되는 베이스에 고정하고, 충돌을 검지하는 충돌센서를 간접 또는 직접으로 그 베이스에 부착하고, 상기 커버를 상기 베이스에 대하여, 이동가능하게 부착하여 일체화하고, 커버와 베이스 사이에 혼스위치가 설치되어 있다. 충돌센서에는 조향핸들 및 베이스를 통하여 충격이 전달되고, 베이스에 대하여 이동가능한 커버를 가압하면 혼스위치가 작동한다.

Claims (5)

  1. 에어백과 가스발생기와 충돌센서를 베이스와 커버내에 일체적으로 수납하고, 조향핸들에 고정되는 에어백모듈에 있어서, 충돌시에 가스를 발생하는 가스발생기와, 그 가스 발생기를 고착하고 조향핸들에 고정되는 베이스와, 그 베이스에 직접 또는 간접으로 부착되어 충돌을 검지하는 충돌센서와, 상기 가스발생기의 가스유출구멍을 덮고 부착되는 에어백과, 그 에어백을 수납하는 커버와, 그 커버를 상기 베이스에 대하여 이동가능하게 부착하는 부착수단과, 상기 커버와 상기 베이스 사이에 설치된 혼스위치를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백모듈.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 충돌센서는 가스발생기내에 설치된 것은 특징으로 하는 에어백모듈.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 베이스와 커버의 간격을 혼스위치가 작동하지 않는 거리로 유지하는 가세수단이 설치되고, 그 가세수단에 저항하여 커버의 표면부분을 가압하면 상기 간격이 작아져서 혼스위치가 작동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백모듈.
  4. 에어백과 가스발생기와 충돌센서를 베이스와 커버내에 일체적으로 수납하고, 조향핸들에 고정되는 에어백 모듈에 있어서, 충돌시에 가스를 발생하는 가스발생기와 그 가스발생기를 고착하여 조향핸들에 고정되는 베이스와, 그 베이스에 직접 또는 간접으로 부착되어 충돌을 검지하는 충돌센서와 상기 가스발생기의 가스유출구멍을 덮고 부착되는 에어백과, 그 에어백을 수납하는 커버와, 그 커버가 에어백을 내장하기 위한 내커버와, 그 내커버 또는 상기 커버를 상기 베이스에 대하여 이동가능하게 부착하는 부착수단과, 상기 내커버로 부터 상기 에어백으로 가스를 도입하는 가스도입로와, 상기 내커버로 부터 상기 에어백으로 가스를 도입하는 가스도입로와, 상기 내커버 또는 상기 커버와 상기 베이스 사이에 설치된 혼스위치를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백모듈.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 내커버와 가스발생시 사이에는 시일부재가 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백모듈.
