Abstract

본 발명은 액정의 표시품질을 향상시키고 소비전류를 저감하도록 된 승압회로장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다.
이를 위한 본 발명은, 표시패널(15)에 구동신호 SEG및 COM을 공급하는 액정구동회로(14)와, 이 액정구동회로(14)의 소비전류에 따라 선택신호를 생성하여 출력하는 타이밍회로(11), 타이밍회로(11)로부터 출력된 선택신호에 기초하여 주파수가 다른 적어도 2종류의 구동신호 CLK중 어느 것인가를 선택하여 출력하는 구동신호 선택회로(12), 출력된 구동신호 CLSK를 부여받아서 액정구동회로(14)에 구동전원전압을 공급하는 승압회로(13)를 구비하고 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 제1실시예에 의한 스압회로장치의 구성을 나타낸 블록도,
제2도는 동 승압회로장치에 있어서의 소비전류와 구동신호 CLK의 관계를 나타낸 타임 챠트,
제3도는 본 발명의 제2실시예에 의한 승압회로장치에 있어서의 구동신호 선택회로를 나타낸 블록도,

Claims (4)

  1. 주기적으로 소비전류가 변화하는 전류부하회로와, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류에 따라 선택신호를 생성하여 출력하는 타이밍회로, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 출력된 상기 선택신호에 기초하여 주파수가 다른 적어도 2종류의 구동신호중 어느 것인가를 선택하여 출력하는 구동신호 선택회로, 상기 구동신호 선택회로로부터 출력된 상기 구동신호를 부여받아서 상기 전류부하회로에 전원전압을 공급하는 승압회로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 승압회로장치.
  2. 주기적으로 소비전류가 변화하는 전류부하회로와, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류에 따라 선택신호를 생성하여 출력하는 타이밍회로, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 출력된 상기 선택신호에 기초하여, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류가 소정치보다도 큰 경우에는 주파수가 다른 적어도 2종류의 구동신호중 어느 것인가를 선택하여 출력하고, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류가 소정치 이하인 경우에는 구동신호의 출력을 정지시키는 구동신호 선택회로, 상기 구동신호 선택회로로부터 출력된 상기 구동신호를 부여받아서 상기 전류부하회로에 전원전압을 공급하는 승압회로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 승압회로장치.
  3. 주기적으로 소비전류가 변화하는 전류부하회로와, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류가 소정치보다도 큰 때에 고속클록 선택신호를 출력하고, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류가 소정치 이하인 때에 저속클록 선택신호를 출력하는 타이밍회로, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 상기 저속클록이 출력된 경우에는 제1주파수를 갖는 저속클록을 선택하고, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 상기 고속클록이 출력된 경우에는 상기 제1주파수보다도 주파수가 높은 적어도 2종류의 고속클록중 어느 것인가를 선택해서 출력하는 구동신호 선택회로, 상기 구동신호 선택회로로부터 출력된 상기 구동신호를 부여받아서 상기 전류부하회로에 전원전압을 공급하는 승압회로, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 상기 고속클록이 출력된 경우, 상기 승압회로로부터 출력된 전원전압과 기준전압을 비교하고, 상기 전원전압이 상기 기준전압까지 도달하기까지의 사이에, 상기 고속클록중 순차적으로 주파수가 높은 것을 상기 구동신호로서 출력하도록 상기 구동신호 선택회로를 제어하는 제어수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 승압회로장치.
  4. 주기적으로 소비전류가 변화하는 전류부하회로와, 상기 전류부하회로의 소비전류가 증대되는 시점보다도 빠른 시점으로부터 소정기간 선택신호를 출력하고, 상기 소정기간 경과후에는 상기 선택신호의 출력을 정지시키는 타이밍회로, 상기 타이밍회로로부터 상기 선택신호가 출력되고 있는 사이에 구동신호를 출력하고, 상기 선택신호가 출력되고 있지 않은 사이에는 상기 구동신호의 출력을 정지시키는 구동신호 선택회로, 상기 구동신호 선택회로로부터 출력된 상기 구동신호를 부여받아서 상기 전류부하회로에 전원전압을 공급하는 승압회로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 승압회로장치.
