본 고안은 의자용 팔 받침구에 관한 것이며, 상세하게는 등받이의 상연에 팔 받침구를 결합함에 있어 면과 면이 접촉되게 하여 견고성을 더 높인 것에 관한 것이다.
종래의 경우를 살펴보면 제 2, 3도 (b)에서 도시된 바와같은 의자용 등받이(3') 상면과 팔 받침구(2')의 접촉면적이 적어서 견고성이 상실되고, 또 장기간 사용이나 외력에 의해 용접부가 쉽게 균열되어 파손되는 단점이 있다.
따라서 본 고안은 상기와 같은 제반 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 안출된 것으로 팔받침구에 등받이 상연과 접촉되는 받침부 면적이 크도록 하여 견고성을 더 높이는데 주목적이 있으며, 이를 첨부 도면과 관련하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
금속제 등받이(3)가형으로 형성된 통상의 의자에 결합되는 팔 받침구(2)에 있어서; 등받이(3) 상연만곡부(4)와 밀착되는 곳에 요홈(1)을 형성시켜 등받이(3)의 만곡부(4)가 요홈(1)에 삽착될때 받침면적이 크도록 팔받침구(2)를 구성한 것이다.
도면중 미설명 부호(5)는 의자이다.
이와같이 구성된 본 고안의 효과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
팔받침구(2)의 저면에 형성된 요홈(1)을형 등받이(3)의 상연 만곡부(4)에 끼워 받점면적을 넓게 하고 내향된 요홈(1)의 양측부분 걸림턱에 의하여형 등받이(3)의 상연 만곡부(4)가 요동되지 않게 지지한 다음 등받이(3)의 만곡부(4)와 팔받침구(2) 접점 양측을 용접하여 일체가 되도록 함으로서 의자의 등받이(3)에 결합되는 팔받침구(2)의 견고성을 더 높이고 나아가 파손을 방지하게 되는 매우 유용한 고안이다.

  1. (정정) 금속제 등받이가형으로 형성된 공지의 의자에 있어서;형 등받이(3)의 상연 만곡부(4)와 대향되는 곳에 요홈(1)을 형성한 팔받침구(2)를 얹어 접점부 양측면을 용접하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 의자용 팔받침구.
