본 발명은 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음을 줄이기 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.

하드디스크 드라이브에 있어서 액츄에이터 및 스핀들모터에 의해 발생되는 소음 및 진동을 감쇄시키기 위한 장치 및 방법을 제공하는데 있다.

하드디스크 드라이브의 베이스에 진동 및 소음을 감쇄하기 의한 댐퍼를 설치한 것을 특징으로 한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
진동 및 소음을 줄인 하드디스크 드라이브를 제공한다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 하드디스크 드라이브의 베이스의 평면도이다,
제2도는 제1도의 A-B선을 따라 절단한 도면이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 베이스에 스핀들모터와 액츄에이터를 설치한 하드디스크 드라이브에 있어서, 상기 스핀들모터(14)와 상기 액츄에이터로부터 발생되는 진동과 소음을 줄이기 위한 댐퍼(16)(damper)를 상기 베이스(10)에 부착하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 댐퍼(16)는 상기 베이스(10)의 표면에 접착체(20)로 고정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 댐퍼(16)는 고무(rubber)임을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠방법.
  4. 베이스에 스핀들모터와 액츄에이더를 설치한 하드디스크 드라이브에 있어서. 상기 스핀들모터(14)와 상기 액츄에이터로부터 발생되는 진동과 소음을 줄이기 위한 댐퍼(16)(damper)와, 상기 댐퍼(16)를 조립하기 의한 홈(12)을 가진 상기 베이스(10)와, 상기 베이스(10)의 홈(12)에 상기 댐퍼(l6)을 고정하기 위한 접착제(20)를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 댐퍼(16)는 진동에너지를 효과적으로 흡수하기 위하여 알루미늄 관(aluminumplate)과 감쇠재료(damping material)와 그리고 접착제(20)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 감쇠재료는 고무(rubber)임을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 진동 및 소음 감쇠장치.
