Abstract

본 발명은 분산 다중서버 환경의 분산 멀티미디어 서버에 관한 것으로서, 수신된 데이터를 분류하고, 각 데이터를 실시간전송프로토콜 처리부 또는 패킷프로토콜 처리부로 수신되게 라우팅하는 제1비디오 리다이렉터; 실시간 데이터처리를 위해 흐름제어를 하고, 통신프로토콜을 처리하는 실시간 전송프로토콜 처리부; 텍스트 또는 제어데이터를 처리하는 패킷프로토콜 처리부; 세션정보를 콘솔에 표시하며, 세션을 설정하고, 세션의 동적 스케쥴링을 통하여 세션을 관리하는 제어관리부; 스트림 정보를 관리하고 스케쥴링하고 제공하며, 서비스할 수 있는 스트립 수를 최대화하는 스트림 관리부; 및 수신데이터를 실시간 전송프로토콜 처리부 또는 패킷프로토콜 처리부로 라우팅하는 제2비디오 리다이렉터를 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 의하면 동화성처리를 위해 일반 PC를 비디오서버로 사용할 수 있으며, 운영체제나 하드웨어플랫폼에 종속되지 않는다. 또한 로드균형을 통해 실시간 데이터 처리의 효율성을 높일 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 멀티미디어 서버의 기능 블럭도를 도시한 것이다.
제2도는 분산 멀티미디어 서버를 이용한 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템을 도시한 것이다.
제3도는 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템을 이용한 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터 액세스 방법의 흐름도를 도시한 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 외부에서 수신된 데이터를 스트림데이터와 제어데이터 및 텍스트 데이터로 분류하고, 스트림데이터는 실시간 전송프로토콜 처리부로 수신되고, 텍스트 데이터 및 제어데이터는 패킷프로토콜 처리부로 수신되게 라우팅하는 제1비디오 리다이렉처; 상기 제1비디오 리다이렉터로부터 실시간 스트림데이터를 받아 실시간 데이터 처리를 위한 프로토콜 분석하여 흐름제어를 하고, 분산네트웍에서의 각 서버간의 로드균형을 위한 통신프로토콜을 처리하는 실시간 전송프로토콜 처리부; 상기 제1비디오 리다이렉터로부터 텍스트 데이터 또는 제어데이터를 받아 처리하는 패킷프로토콜 처리부; 세션정보를 콘솔에 표시하며, 클라이언트들의 초기 전송율 요청을 취합하여 세션을 설정하고, 상기 세션의 동적 스케쥴링을 통하여 세션을 관리하는 제어관리부; 사용자의 요구에 대해 스트림 정보를 관리하고 스케쥴링하며, 상기 제어관리부가 요구하는 스트림 정보를 제공하며, 동시에 서비스할 수 있는 스트림 수를 최대화하는 스트림 관리부; 및 상기 스트림관리부 또는 제오관리부의 데이터를 실시간 전송프로토콜 처리부 또는 상기 패킷프로토콜 처리부로 라우팅하는 제2비디오 리다이렉터를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분산 멀티미디어 서버.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스트림관리부는 스트림 정보를 객체로 매핑하여 데이터베이스로 구축하고 객체중심 관리를 하는 객체 관리기; 다수의 스트림 사이의 효율적 메모리 운영을 위해서 적합한 자료구조를 선택하고 데이터 복사를 최소화할 수 있는 알고리즘을 선택하는 메모리 관리기; 디스크와 메모리 상이의 동화상 입출력을 관리하며 각 스트림의 동시성을 유지하면서 동시 서비스 스트림 수를 최대화 하는 디스크 관리기를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분산 멀티미디어 서버.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어관리부의 세션정보는 스트림관련 세션상태, 사용자 계정, 전송율, 파일의 플레이백 상태, 화일의 크기, 및 압축방식을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분산 멀티미디어 서버.
  4. 클라어언트가 요구한 멀티미디어 데이터를 실시간으로 제공하는 적어도 하나 이상의 멀티미디어 서버; 상기 멀티미디어 서버의 상태 및 관리를 위한 정보를 가지고, 상기 멀티미디어 서버를 관리하며, 클라이언트의 멀티미디어 데이터의 요구에 대해 해당하는 멀티미디어 서버에 관한 정보를 응답하여, 로드균형을 관리하는 주 서버; 및 상기 주 서버 및 멀티미디어 서버에게 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터를 요구하는 클라이언트를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템.
  5. 주 서버, 적어도 하나 이상의 멀티미디어서버, 적어도 하나 이상의 클라이언트가 네트웍으로 연결되어 있는 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템에 있어서, 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터 액세스 방법에 있어서, 클라이언트가 메인서버에게 멀티미디어데이터를 요청하는 단계; 주 서버가 로드 분산을 고려하여 클라이언트의 요구데이터를 가지고 있는 멀티미디어 서버에 관한 정보를 클라이언트에게 제공하는 단계; 클라이언트가 해당 멀티미디어 서버에게 원하는 멀티미디어 데이터를 요구하는 단계; 및 멀티미디어 서버가 실시간으로 클라이언트의 원하는 데이터를 제공하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템의 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터 액세스 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 주 서버가 클라이언트에게 제공하는 멀티미디어 서버의 정보는 멀티미디어 서버의 주소와 디스크의 위치임을 특징으로 하는 분산 다중서버 네트웍 시스템의 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터 액세스 방법.
