Abstract

본 발명은 투명전극을 격벽과 양극으로 분리한 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법을 개시한다. 이 방법은 투명 기판위에 투명세로전극 패턴을 형성하는 단계; 투명세로전극 패턴의 내부를 소정 깊이까지 식각하는 단계; 투명세로전극의 식각된 부분에 적, 녹, 청의 형광체를 형성하는 단계; 희생층을 전면에 소정 두께로 도포하는 단계; 도포된 희생층의 가장자리 소정부분을 식각하는 단계; 전면에 전극물질을 소정 두께로 증착하는 단계; 증착된 전극물질이 상기 투명전극 패턴과 수직하도록 전극패턴을 형성하는 단계; 희생층을 제거하는 단계를 포함한다.

제2도의 (가)부터 (라)는 본 발명의 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법을 설명하기 위한 공정 흐름도, 제3도는 제2도의 방법에 따라 형성된 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 평면도.

Claims (7)

  1. 투명 기판위에 투명세로전극 패턴을 형성하는 단계; 상기 투명세로전극 패턴의 내부를 소정 깊이까지 식각하는 단계; 상기 투명세로전극의 식각된 부분에 적, 녹, 청의 형광체를 형성하는 단계; 희생층을 전면에 소정 두께로 도포하는 단계; 도포된 희생층의 가장자리 소정부분을 식각하는 단계; 전면에 전극물질을 소정 두께로 증착하는 단계; 증착된 전극물질이 상기 투명전극 패턴과 수직하도록 전극패턴을 형성하는 단계; 희생층을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명전극패턴의 형성은 투명전극층과 감광막을 순차적으로 형성하고, 사진식각 공정을 통하여 제1감광막 패턴을 형성하는 단계; 건식식각법으로 노출된 투명전극층을 제거하는 단계; 그리고 제1감광막 패턴을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명전극의 식각은 플라즈마를 이용한 건식식각법인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 희생층은 폴리이미드인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투명전극은 인듐주석산화물인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 제조방법.
  6. 투명기판과 상기 투명기판상에 형성되어, 내부 소정 부분에 공간을 가지며, 셀과 셀을 분리시키는 격벽 및 세로전극으로 가능하는 투명세로전극과, 상기 투명세로전극의 내부에 위치하는 형광체와, 상기 투명세로전극과 직교하며, 소정 간격을 두고 배열된 가로전극을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 투명전극은 서로 일정한 간격을 두고 분리된 구조인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널.
