Abstract

스핀들모터의 베어링에서 발생되는 마찰 손실을 감소시킬 수 있는 스핀들모터에 관한 내용이 개시되어 있다. 이 스핀들모터는 회전되지 않는 고정부와, 고정부와 대응하여 회전되도록 설치된 회전부와, 고정부와 회전부 사이에 설치된 저널 베어링 스러스트 볼 베어링을 구비한다. 이와 같은 구성 요소를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명에 따른 스핀들모터는 허브에 작용하는 축방향 힘을 볼 베어링으로 지지하고, 원심 방향 힘을 저널 베어링으로 지지하여 종래의 저널과 스러스트링 사이에서 발생되는 마찰 손실을 효과적으로 감소시켰다.

Claims (3)

  1. 회전되지 않는 고정부와, 상기 고정부와 대응되게 설치되어 회전되는 회전부와, 상기 고정부와 상기 회전부 사이에 설치된 베어링부를 구비하는 스핀들모터에 있어서, 상기 베어링부는 상기 회전부 및 고정부 사이에 설치된 저널 베어링과, 상기 저널 베어링과 고정부 사이에 설치된 스러스트베어링을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스핀들모터.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 저널 베어링은 상기 고정부에 고정된 고정 축과, 상기 회전체에 고정된 원통형 저널을 구비하여 상기 원통형 저널에 상기 고정축이 삽입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스핀들모터.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 볼베어링은 상기 고정축에 고정된 고정 스러스트와, 상기 저널에 고정된 회전 스러스트와, 상기 고정 스러스트와 상기 회전 스러스트 사이에 위치된 볼을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스핀들모터.
