The invention relates to a method for building sanitary rooms with tiled walls, on which at least one sanitary part is arranged. The invention further relates to a kit for performing the method.

Sanitary rooms are the most complicated in construction. Six trades - structural work, wet installation, electrical installation, plastering, tile work and carpentry - meet here in a concentrated manner. Sometimes the work has to alternate several times, such as the wet installation and the tile work.

To reduce the high costs resulting from this, entire sanitary room walls have been designed as prefabricated components and even complete sanitary rooms as prefabricated cells that are used as a whole in the construction. However, this greatly limits the possibilities for interior design, the prefabricated cell construction and the size of the room. These solutions are therefore out of the question for the majority of residential construction. They are technically not possible for the renovation of old buildings.

The invention has for its object to rationalize the construction of freely designed sanitary rooms, to simplify it from planning through material procurement to / tile laying and sanitary part assembly.

According to the invention, for this purpose, in a method for building sanitary rooms with tiled walls, on which at least one sanitary part is arranged, the sanitary part is arranged at a standardized location on a standardized rectangular tile field, the height of which takes up at least the greater part of the room height and with its width includes the space required on both sides of the sanitary part for freedom of movement and for fittings and has only entire rows of tiles and, in the case of a decor that goes beyond the tile field boundaries, has the matching decor connection on one border at the other.

The sanitary parts and the fittings are all within the basic dimensions of the height.
