In addition, as is generally known to those skilled in the art, however, all of these products specifically designed for use in cleaning and polishing surfaces, particularly those commonly used for vehicles, have a common disadvantage which hinders wider use of these products.

This drawback is the fact that these products only provide acceptable results when the surface to be treated has been previously cleaned and / or washed in order to completely remove any foreign matter from the latter, the products known in the state of the art requiring , therefore, to treat and polish surfaces, a prior cleaning or washing operation, to completely remove any foreign matter from the surface to be treated.

The composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces of different types of materials, in accordance with the present invention, can easily clean the surface of any type of materials, completely removing any foreign matter from it, while treating it and polishing it, at the same time, to restore it to its original shine.

Detailed description of the invention

The composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing the surfaces of different types of material, in accordance with the present invention will be better understood from the following detailed description, illustrative and not limiting, of its currently preferred mode of preparation.

To prepare a final volume of 25 liters of the composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces, in accordance with the present invention, 750 ml of type 1 carnauba wax are initially mixed in a first reaction tank with 2 % by volume of Renex (™), said quantity being established as a function of the volume of the carnauba wax. The mixture is stirred for 3 to 5 minutes, at a temperature of approximately 90 ° C, in order to completely dissolve the carnauba wax. Renex is a catalyst in the well-known tryetha family of the state of the art, so it will not be described here in more detail.

After this first step, the product resulting from the latter is finely sieved through a filtering means in order to completely separate the essence of the carnauba wax from the solid material. The precipitate of solid material filtered in this stage has an absolutely neutral nature and can easily be discarded without causing damage to the environment.

250 ml of pure silicone oil are then mixed with 750 ml of a commercially available polishing wax: in a second reaction tank and the mixture is stirred for approximately 3 minutes. After this second step the essence of the carnauba wax is added to the mixture.

The above mixture of pure silicone oil, polishing wax and carnauba wax essence is then poured into a third reaction tank having an appropriate volume and 200 ml of hexane are added to the mixture, which is then stirred for another 2 to 3 minutes.

23.5 liters of water are then poured into the third reaction tank containing the active ingredients / components of the composition, in accordance with the present invention, while they are continuously agitated in order to provide a homogeneous mixture.

In the composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces, in accordance with the present invention, the water added to the active components is used only to give the composition the desired final viscosity and has no influence whatsoever , the ability to clean the composition.

In the particular case of the composition according to the present invention, the cleaning agent is the aliphatic glycolic solvent which dissolves and eliminates any foreign matter from the surface to be treated without causing damage to the latter.

Also, in the composition according to the present invention, the hexane plays the role of a desiccant product for any excess moisture which may remain on the surface to be treated, while the carnauba wax helps to regain the initial shine of the surface to be treated.

Finally, in the composition according to the present invention, the pure silicone oil creates a waterproofing film on the surface to be treated in order to protect the surface against impregnation of dirt or dust.

The composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces, in accordance with the present invention will be further explained in relation to the following nonlimiting examples, which are illustrative of the results obtained.

EXAMPLE. „1

A composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces of different types of materials, having different surface textures, was prepared as described above. The formulation of the composition was 1.25% by volume of hexane, 1.5% by volume of carnauba wax, 0.65% by volume of pure silicone oil, 0.75% by volume of a solvent aliphatic glycolic and 95.85% by volume of water, as an excipient.

The composition having the preceding formulation was used to clean and polish the surfaces of a vehicle. The result was considered excellent with regard to the cleanliness, shine and final appearance of the vehicle.

EXAMPLE 2

The procedure of Example 1 was repeated, except that the 1.25% by volume of hexane was replaced by 0.8% by volume. When the composition according to Example 2 was used to clean and polish a vehicle, the composition took a long time to dry, so that the time required to apply the product was considered to be excessive.

EXAMPLE 3.

The procedure of Example 1 was repeated, except that the 1.25% by volume of hexane was replaced by 2.0% by volume. When the composition according to Example 3 was used to clean and polish a vehicle, the composition dried too quickly, so that a coating layer was formed on the surface.

As can be easily appreciated from the examples described above, the composition for cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces, in accordance with the present invention, is ideal for cleaning and polishing the surfaces of different materials, which they are painted or not, including wood, glass, metal and other materials.

A composition for cleaning and polishing surfaces, particularly suitable for use in cleaning, polishing and waterproofing surfaces of different types of materials, having different surface textures, comprising from approximately 1.0% to approximately 1.5% by volume of hexane, from approximately 0.5% to approximately 0.8% by volume of pure silicone oil, from approximately 1.0% to approximately 2.0% by volume of carnauba wax , from approximately 0.5% to approximately 1.0% by volume of an aliphatic glycolic solvent and water, all these amounts being considered relative to the final volume of the composition. 2.
