Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de traitement, notamment de refroidissement, d'une couche de matériau en vrac, au moyen d'un flux de gaz guidé au travers de ladite couche sur une grille. Ladite grille comporte plusieurs planches (10) allongées dans le sens de transport, entraînées en va-et-vient dans le sens de transport de manière qu'au moins deux planches adjacentes (10) sont entraînées en avant de façon simultanée, et en arrière de façon non simultanée. Comme la marchandise, située sur une planche (10) entraînée en arrière, ne peut pas suivre totalement la planche entraînée en arrière du fait du frottement avec la marchandise située sur la planche adjacente ou avec la paroi (1), le rendement de transport dans le sens de transport est supérieur au rendement de transport dans le sens opposé.
