Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant la rotation d'un corps de grande dimension, tel que le châssis (11) d'un collecteur d'énergie solaire présentant un réflecteur (10) de grande dimension, autour d'un axe (12). Ledit appareil fait appel à un élément annulaire ou élément arqué (16). Une mâchoire de fixation d'actionneur (18) peut être déplacée le long de l'élément annulaire ou arqué lorsqu'elle n'est pas fixée sur ce dernier. La mâchoire de fixation d'actionneur est reliée à une extrémité d'un dispositif d'extension et de contraction, tel qu'un actionneur hydraulique (17). L'autre extrémité de l'actionneur est reliée au corps ou à un bras rigide (15) qui est relié de manière sûre à l'élément annulaire ou arqué. Avec la mâchoire de fixation d'actionneur fermement fixée sur l'élément annulaire ou arqué, l'extension ou la contraction de l'actionneur amène le corps à tourner autour de l'axe. Au moins une mâchoire de fixation auxiliaire (20, 22) peut être présente, laquelle peut être utilisée pour poursuivre le déplacement du corps tandis que la position de la mâchoire de fixation d'actionneur sur l'élément annulaire ou arqué est modifiée.
