L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) d'étude et de vérification de données d'identification intégré dans un système de communication, et un procédé associé, qui non seulement permet de recueillir une vaste gamme de données d'identification sensibles, mais aussi de les traiter et de les transmettre sous forme chiffrée, en leur affectant des références temporelles et de position précises, et utilise: des moyens de prise numérique de données, notamment des données visuelles et/ou sonores; des moyens de mesure de temps; des moyens de transmission numérique; un microprocesseur (24); des moyens de chiffrement de données sensibles; des moyens d'identification d'un utilisateur du dispositif; un logiciel affectant une référence temporelle et de position aux données visuelles et/ou sonores et les traduisant sous forme chiffrée identifiant l'utilisateur de dispositif.
