Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un toron (11) composé de plusieurs brins (12) qui sont constitués d'un matériau électriquement conducteur. Selon le procédé, les fils sont écrouis par tréfilage à un diamètre final dans au moins une machine de tréfilage pour fil unique ou fils multiples (19) ou dans un dispositif de tréfilage au cours d'une dernière passe de tréfilage avant le toronnage, de sorte que le ou les brins (12) présentent une résistance à la traction d'au moins 300 N/mm². Ensuite, les brins écrouis par tréfilage (12) ou un mélange de brins écrouis par tréfilage (12) et de brins recuits sont assemblés en un toron (11) dans une machine de toronnage (21) sans opération de recuit ultérieure. L'invention concerne également un toron qui a été fabriqué selon le procédé ci-dessus.
