Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un système de collecte et/ou de capture de biogaz qui comprend une ou plusieurs unités de collecte et/ou de capture de biogaz (BCCU) qui capturent et/ou collectent du biogaz produit dans une ou plusieurs chambres de production de biogaz (BGC). Les BCCU peuvent être des conduites tubulaires liées de manière fonctionnelle aux BGC ou des boîtes liées de manière amovible aux BGC et conçues pour la capture réversible du biogaz produit à l'intérieur. Un système d'introduction de déchets lié de manière fonctionnelle aux BGC est utilisé pour alimenter celles-ci en déchets à partir d'une ou plusieurs sources de déchets. La production de biogaz à l'intérieur des BGC est éventuellement favorisée par la rétention d'au moins une partie des déchets à l'intérieur pendant une période de temps suffisante pour l'évacuation des gaz due à la dégradation, ou par l'utilisation de moyens pour favoriser le traitement microbien tels que des moyens de chauffage, des moyens d'aération localisés ou un moyen de production d'hydrogène et d'oxygène in situ. Le biogaz extrait est utilisé dans des centres d'utilisation de gaz pour des applications non limitées à la production d'électricité, à l'utilisation comme combustibles et à l'utilisation pour la synthèse chimique. Les centres d'utilisation de gaz peuvent être situés soit localement sur les sources individuelles de déchets soit à un emplacement centralisé.
