Abstract

L'invention concerne un broyeur à meules (1) de matériaux particulaires tels que des matériaux bruts du ciment, du clinker et de matériaux similaires. Le broyeur à meules comprend un dispositif de force (8) absorbant au moins en partie la force axiale provenant au moins de la meule et agissant dans la direction longitudinale de l'arbre de meule (6). Ledit dispositif de force (8) comporte une première partie (9) et une deuxième partie (10), comprenant chacune (9, 10) des surfaces opposées de pression (9a, 10a) formant entre elles un compartiment (11), la surface de pression (9a) sur la première partie, orientée dans la direction opposée à la force axiale, agissant dans la direction longitudinale de l'arbre de meule; et un moyen (12) d'introduction d'un milieu visqueux sous pression dans le susdit compartiment (11). On obtient ainsi un dispositif de force efficace et réglable atténuant l'effort axial s'exerçant sur le palier de la meule lequel peut ainsi être sélectionné parmi des paliers disponibles dans le commerce.
