Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d'utilisation de l'énergie générée au sein d'un système de traitement d'un gaz de combustion (100). Ledit procédé comprend les étapes consistant à soumettre une solution chargée de dioxyde de carbone (142) à une certaine pression dans un système de régénération (136), de façon à éliminer le dioxyde de carbone de la solution chargée de dioxyde de carbone (142), puis à générer un flux de dioxyde de carbone haute pression (138). Au moins une partie dudit flux de dioxyde de carbone haute pression (138) est introduite dans une turbine de détente (160), ce qui génère de l'énergie (164). Ladite énergie (164) est utilisée pour produire de l'électricité (168).
