Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte au domaine technique des dispositifs de lecture et d'authentification de billets de banque. Elle concerne également des dispositifs tenus à la main, en particulier ceux qui peuvent être utilisés par les personnes ayant une déficience visuelle pour identifier différentes coupures de billets de banque. La présente invention a pour objet un appareil d'authentification de billet de banque qui comble les lacunes de la technique antérieure. L'appareil d'authentification peut également être utilisé pour authentifier un document de sécurité comprenant un marquage (tel qu'une encre luminescente ou un motif imprimé sur le document, notamment un fil de sécurité ou bande de sécurité luminescent(e), qui émet une lueur luminescente de couleur spécifique, dans des conditions d'éclairage approprié par lumière ultraviolette. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé d'identification d'une coupure de billet de banque présentant une zone de test munie d'un marquage qui émet une lueur selon une luminescence de couleur spécifique en fonction de la coupure, dans des conditions d'éclairage approprié par lumière ultraviolette.
