Abstract
Cette invention concerne un système de chauffage pour une formation minérale souterraine. Selon certains modes de réalisation, ledit système comprend un tubage disposé dans un trou de forage dans la formation minérale souterraine, le tubage présentant une surface externe et une surface interne. Ledit système comprend en outre un élément chauffant disposé à l'intérieur du tubage, un système de connexion avec la surface dont une première extrémité est couplée à l'élément chauffant à l'intérieur du tubage et une seconde extrémité atteint une surface supérieure du terrain au-dessus de la formation souterraine minérale. Le système comprend enfin un fluide de transfert thermique contenu dans le tubage, ledit fluide étant configuré de sorte à transférer de la chaleur entre l'élément chauffant et la surface interne du tubage. Au moins une partie du fluide de transfert thermique subit des changements de phase entre la phase liquide et la phase gazeuse afin de réguler une température du tubage. Des ailettes peuvent être disposées à l'extérieur du tubage pour améliorer le transfert de chaleur.
