Abstract
Selon l'invention, dans un système de communication sans fil, l'agrégation de porteuses peut être utilisée pour fournir des quantités souhaitées de bande passante, une porteuse principale et une ou plusieurs porteuses secondaires étant agrégées. Du côté de réception d'un système dans lequel les porteuses agrégées sont dans une seule bande de fréquence, un amplificateur peut être utilisé pour appliquer un gain commun aux porteuses agrégées dans la bande de fréquence unique, et le gain commun peut être déterminé comme une fonction d'indications de qualité de signal reçu associées à des groupes de porteuses agrégées contenant une ou plusieurs des porteuses agrégées, un groupe contenant la porteuse principale (pcc) et peut-être une ou plusieurs porteuses secondaires (scc) et un autre groupe contenant uniquement des porteuses secondaires.
