Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de neige de dioxyde de carbone sous-refroidie, dans lequel un dioxyde de carbone liquide est introduit dans une chambre de dilatation (5) au niveau d'une buse de dilatation (2) dans laquelle le dioxyde de carbone liquide est expansé le gaz et la neige de dioxyde de carbone étant ainsi produits, puis le mélange est séparé en une phase constituée principalement de neige de dioxyde de carbone et une phase consistant principalement en dioxyde de carbone gazeux. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'un vide est produit au moins dans la zone de la buse de détente (2) au moyen d'un écoulement dans la chambre de détente (5) produite lors de l'expansion du dioxyde de carbone liquide dans lequel le charbon liquide le dioxyde est élargi. Une neige de dioxyde de carbone sous-refroidie finement pulvérisée est ainsi produite.
