Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'administration médicale pour faire avancer un piston dans un récipient de médicament afin d'expulser un médicament. Une structure de support supporte le récipient et un ensemble d'entraînement qui fait avancer le piston. L'ensemble d'entraînement comprend un ruban d'entraînement qui peut être rétracté et étendu. Le ruban rétracté définit une spirale et le ruban étendu définit une hélice. Le ruban d'entraînement peut être déplacé de manière incrémentale entre la configuration en spirale rétractée et la configuration en hélice étendue. Un entraînement mécanique fait tourner le ruban d'entraînement pour déployer et rétracter sélectivement le ruban. Un élément de poussée ayant une rampe hélicoïdale vient en prise avec un bord proximal du ruban d'entraînement où il se change entre une spirale et une hélice. Un élément de support à l'extrémité distale du ruban d'entraînement exerce une force axiale sur le piston lorsque le ruban est étendu.
