Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'obtenir un paramètre représentatif d'une hauteur (h) d'une surface supérieure (29) d'un matériau (20) empilé dans un four à coke (10) par rapport à un plan de référence (p), comprenant les étapes suivantes: -l'utilisation d'un capteur (47) situé au-dessus de la surface supérieure à une distance de fonctionnement (d1) à partir du plan de référence, le capteur et le matériau formant un condensateur ayant une capacité, -l'obtention d'au moins un signal de capacité représentatif de ladite capacité, -l'obtention d'au moins un signal de distance (s2) au moyen du signal de capacité, le signal de distance étant représentatif d'une distance (d2) entre le capteur et la surface supérieure le long d'une direction verticale (z), et -l'obtention dudit paramètre représentatif de la hauteur au moyen du signal de distance et de la distance de fonctionnement.
