Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition qui contient au moins de l'huile d'agrumes, de l'huile de pin et de l'eau salée qui est efficace pour atténuer ou éliminer une maladie microbienne préjudiciable, dans un exemple une maladie provoquée par des bactéries à gram négatif, chez des plantes. Ce mélange est efficace contre le verdissement des agrumes et d'autres maladies provoquées par des bactéries à gram négatif. Un mélange contenant au moins les composants susdits peut être utilisé en tant que traitement des racines et/ou des feuilles par dilution d'un mélange concentré de la composition et pulvérisation de celui-ci sur les feuilles d'une plante malade ou d'une plante qui est susceptible d'attraper la maladie. De manière similaire, la composition combinée peut être utilisée en tant que mouillage des racines ou dans un système d'irrigation pour traiter une plante malade. Des composants actifs supplémentaires dans une composition selon la présente invention peuvent éventuellement comprendre un tensioactif (en particulier dans une application foliaire) et un stimulant de croissance (en particulier dans un mouillage des racines ou une application par irrigation).
