Bretelle de portage (8) agencée pour permettre à un individu (2) de porter un objet sur son dos, comportant une armature de conformation (18) comprenant une portion d'armature supérieure agencée de sorte que la bretelle de portage s'étende au-dessus d'une épaule de l'individu, et une portion d'armature avant agencée de sorte que la bretelle de portage s'étende vers le bas contre une face avant du thorax (13) de l'individu, la portion d'armature avant comprenant une portion d'appui agencée pour que la bretelle de portage vienne en appui contre une surface d'appui (24) de l'individu située sur une face avant ou sur une face latérale du thorax ou de l'abdomen de l'individu, de manière à appliquer au moins une partie de la charge de l'objet contre ladite surface d'appui de l'individu, la portion d'appui a une section transversale différente d'un tronçon de la portion d'armature avant s'étendant entre la portion d'appui et la portion d'armature supérieure.
