Abstract
La présente invention porte sur le contrôle écologique du charançon rouge des palmiers, au moyen d’émulsions pesticides mettant à profit la synergie des huiles végétales et des carbonates alcalins, comme substances actives, agissant par action répulsive contre les larves et les insectes adultes et les empêchent de se nourrir, tout en étant toxique par ingestion, en présence, le cas échéant, d’un attractif alimentaire ; parallèlement, la sécrétion hormonale des parasites est bloqué et le développement morphogénétique est arrêté suite à l’inhibition de la formation de chitine (exosquelette), conduisant à la létalité. Les formulations pesticides naturelles, telles que développées, présentent une grande efficacité pour le contrôle écologique du charançon rouge des palmiers, autant par des traitements curatifs que préventifs, tout en étant faciles à manipuler, compétitives et, quasiment, sans impacts négatifs sur la santé et l’environnement ;
