Abstract

La présente invention concerne un bloc de construction isolant destiné à améliorer l'efficacité énergétique des bâtiments en réduisant les ponts thermiques. Le bloc est caractérisé par des âmes internes en forme d'arche qui augmentent la longueur du chemin parcouru par la chaleur à travers le matériau, réduisant ainsi la conduction thermique. Ces âmes définissent des alvéoles verticales qui, en plus de renforcer la structure, améliorent l'isolation thermique et phonique. Le bloc comprend également des rainures et languettes sur les faces supérieures et inférieures pour un emboîtement précis, réduisant l'utilisation de mortier et les ponts thermiques associés. Les blocs sont destinés à être rectifiés afin de réduire encore plus les ponts thermiques. L'ensemble de ces caractéristiques permet de construire des murs monolithiques continus avec des propriétés thermiques et acoustiques optimisées.
