Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'élimination du dioxyde de carbone (CO<sub>2</sub>) à partir d'un flux contenant du CO<sub>2</sub>, le procédé comprenant au moins les étapes consistant à : a) fournir un flux contenant du CO<sub>2</sub> (10), de préférence de l'air, le flux contenant du CO<sub>2</sub> (10) ayant une teneur en CO<sub>2</sub> se situant dans la plage de 10 à 1 000 ppmv, de préférence de 100 à 1 000 ppmv ; b) éliminer le CO<sub>2</sub> à partir du flux contenant du CO<sub>2</sub> (10) fourni à l'étape a) dans une première unité d'élimination de CO<sub>2</sub> (2), ce qui permet d'obtenir un premier flux enrichi en CO<sub>2</sub> (30) et un premier flux appauvri en CO<sub>2</sub> (20) ; c) liquéfier le premier flux enrichi en CO<sub>2</sub> (30) obtenu à l'étape b) dans une unité de liquéfaction (3) ; d) éliminer de l'unité de liquéfaction (3) au moins un flux de CO<sub>2</sub> liquéfié (40) et un flux gazeux (15) contenant au moins de l'azote [N<sub>2</sub>(g) ], de l'oxygène [O<sub>2</sub> (g) ] et du CO<sub>2</sub> (g).
