The invention relates to agriculture, namely to a process for treating common wheat seeds with reduced viability.The process, according to the invention, comprises soaking of seeds for 24 hours in 0.001…0.01% aqueous solution of dehydroconiferyl-9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, obtained from Verbascum densiflorum Bertol. plants by extraction with water-ethanol solution and chromatographic separation of glycoside with Rf 0.78.
