Abstract

The invention refers to the bio-organic chemistry and may be used in agriculture for seed presowing treatment. Summary of the invention consists in that the proposed process includes extraction of furostanol compound from the Trigonella foenum-greacum L. seeds with the 50% methanol solution by boiling. The obtained extract is evaporated. The remained aqueous residue is boiled with acetone in the ratio 1:1 within 30 minutes. The solvents are evaporated up to the obtaining of a dry residue, which is washed with acetone, filtered and dried.The result of the invention consists in increasing the yield of the final product and in the simplification of the process.Claims: 1
