Abstract
The invention refers to chemistry, medicine and veterinary medicine and concerns a new group of organic, biologically active compounds of the sulfonamide class, which are well-soluble in water, has low toxicity, manifest high bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity in respect of the large spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms and may be used as antimicrobian preparations.Summary of the invention consists in obtaining potassium and sodium salts of N-4-[(5-nitro-furan-2-yl-methylene)-amino]-benzene sulfonamides of general formula:I - IXwhere M = Na (I, III, V, VII), K (II, IV, VI, VIII, IX);
