The invention relates to chemistry, namely to the synthesis of coordinative compounds from the class of thiosemicarbazonates of transition metals and may find its application in medicine and veterinary medicine as antimicrobial remedy with a wide spectrum of biological action or as ingredient at the creation of selective nutrient media necessary for cultivation of microorganisms.Summary of the invention consists in obtaining the chelate compound of copper (II) of formula:The compound manifests high antimicrobial activity.
