Abstract

The invention relates to the shipbuilding, particularly to the sailbuilding. The purpose of the invention consists in the improvement of the aerodynamical charateristics of the sailing vessel equipment. This purpose is realized by providing the vessel with additional sailing planes, having a separate sparring, repeating the outlines of the windward half of the sail. At the same time, the additional sailing planes are installed with the possibility to change the angle between them and the sail, and in the cross-section they are closed and repeat the oval form.the design of the sailing vessel equipment gives the possibility to control the density of the air flows from the parts of the sail with low and high pressure, changing the angles between the sail and the aerodynamical surfaces, which permits to reduce considerably the turbulence of the above-mentioned air flows.Drawings: 4
