Abstract

The invention relates to a process for obtaining a green, opaque, photo- and thermoresistant pigment, which may be used for producing parts of artistic mosaic or water paints used in painting or for surface protection.The process for obtaining a green, opaque, photo- and thermoresistant pigment includes preparation of a solution from the mixture of salts of Zn(II), Co(II), Cr(III) and Ni(II), taken in a molar ratio of 92:2:5:1, coprecipitation thereof during agitation with a 10N NH4OH solution, with a pH of 8,0…8,5,stabilization of the system during 15…20 min, at the temperature of 60…80°C, with subsequent addition of an acidulated solution of SbCl3 and BiCl3, in a molar ratio Zn(II): Sb(III) : Bi(II) of 96:3:1. At the same time, the precipitate is filtered, dried at the temperature of 150…160°C during 4 hours, calcined at the temperature of 980…1020° during 0,5 hours and grinded up to the particle dimensions of 0,01…0,05 mm.
