Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a surselor alternative de combustibil ecologic pur.Procedeul propus de obtinere a esterilor metilicidin ulei de rapita include transesterificarea uleiului de rapita cu alcool metilic, luati in raportstoechiometric in prezenta hidroxidului de potasiu, separarea fazelor amestecului si indepartarea catalizatorului rezidual. Noutatea inventiei constain aceea ca inainte de introducerea alcoolului metilic la uleiul de rapita se adauga 4…5% de glicerina si se amesteca la temperatura de 25°C. Transesterificarea se efectueaza la temperatura de 60°C si presiunea de 12…15 mPa, iar indepartarea catalizatorului rezidual se efectueaza la temperatura de85°C prin spalare cu apa in cantitate de 10% fatade masa uleiului initial.
