Abstract

The invention relates to the new biological active compound of the hydrazone class, and namely picoliden-4-isonicotino-ylhydrazone dyhidrate, manifesting a tuberculostatic activity, which may be used in medicine.The invention consists in the creation of a new substance: picoliden-4-isonicotino-yl-hydrazone dihydrate, manifesting a tuberculostatic activity in respect of the stem H37Rv Micobacterium tuberculosis.The technical solution of the invention consists in obtaining a new substance with the formula:Its tuberculostatic activity in respect of the stem H37Rv Micobacterium tuberculosis remains at the isoniazid level, and the toxicity comes down 3,7 times.
