Abstract
The invention relates to the potable water purification, namely, to the processes for purification of the potable water from the nitrite-ions.Summary of the invention consists in the fact that the purification process is conducted in presence of the reducer - ascorbic acid, taken in the molar ratio [AAs] : [NO2] = 10:1 during 30-40 minutes.The technical result of the invention consists in the fact that the ascorbic interacts with the nutrosonium - cation by transforming it into the inactive nitrosated agent nitrogen (II) oxide that 10 times decreases the concentration of the nitrite-iones in the potable water and increases the quality thereof.
