Abstract
The invention relates to the modified process for obtaining calcium salt of the α-oxiy-methylmercaptobutyric acid which is used as additive to the animal forage.The purpose of the invention consists in the minimalization of expenses for realization of the process at the expenses of power consumption reduction. The process is realized by a reciprocal action of the aqueous solution comprising the α-oxi-y-methylmercaptobutyric acid with oxide or calcium hydroxide which is used in a solid state. The process is realized at a temperature of 25-100°. The process can be also realized in the presence of calcium salt having a special destination of the α-oxi-y-methylmercaptobutyric acid in an amount of 80% from the reactant mixture mass.
