Abstract

The invention relates to electric pumps for pumping gases, dielectric and conductive fluids and can be used in the chemical and electronic industries to create pressure in the electroconvective heat exchangers and electrohydrodynamic heat pipes. The electrostatic membrane pump includes a closed chamber (1) with inlet and outlet fittings (12), equipped with bypasses (2), and a dielectric chamber (3), embedded in the closed chamber (1), along its longitudinal axis. In the dielectric chamber (3) are alternately placed movable (6) and fixed (4) electrodes. The movable electrodes (6) are made in the form of electroconducting film, on both sides thereof being located an electroconducting ring (8), at the same time the movable electrodes (6) are connected by means of elastic elements (10), fixed on the periphery with dielectric rings (9) on the walls of the dielectric chamber (3), and in the center - with a dielectric rod (7). The fixed electrodes (4) are connected over one to the opposite poles of a constant-current source (5). At the same time, in the center of the fixed electrodes (4) are made holes for the free passage of the rod (7), which is made hollow and to the ends of which is connected a membrane (11), each fixed on a bellows (13).
