Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de aplicación transdérmica para aplicar por lo menos una droga para ser administrada al sistema circulatorio de un paciente a través de la piel que tiene una gran cantidad de ductos sudoríparos abiertos en el stratum corneum, que consiste en una combinación de un reservorio para droga que contiene una suspensión coloidal que tiene por lo menos una droga para ser administrada al cuerpo del paciente, consistiendo la suspensión coloidal en un medio fluido y partículas en el mencionado medio, por lo general de tamaño grande si se comparan con el tamaño de las moléculas, teniendo el medio y las partículas distintas capacidades específicas, siendo dicho reservorio apto para ser ubicado en contacto eléctrico con la piel del paciente, un mecanismo de voltaje para imponer líneas de un campo electrostático sobre dicho medio para crear un campo electrostático no uniforme en el medio cuando es ubicado sobre la piel, dichas partículas, viajando de acuerdo con el principio de dielectroforesis pasan a través de la piel dentro del sistema circulatorio sistémico.
